  • Bio

Jacob Czitrom was born in 1983-01-24 at Danderyds Hospital. He lived in Vallentuna, Stockholm until he was 8 years old when he moved with his family to Köping where he has lived for the past 20 years. He has always had an interest in music, but began playing on his midi keyboard for fun at the age of 15 when he got his first computer. His interest for music then grew significantly. Jacob graduated in the summer of 2002, with relatively good grades, * wink, wink *. In the winter of 2002, Jacob moved to his uncle Goran Strawning in Stockholm. (Former employee of Mega Records in Stockholm, the DJ on the boat Patricia in Stockholm, personal DJ on Channel 5's festivities and mixed and produced Bodywork series, especially developed for aerobics), for training in mastering and music production. Jacob had come to visit the world-renowned house producer and DJ pal to Goran, StoneBridge, who gave Jacob tips and advice. Stonebridge then mastered Jacob and Shalonas hit "All The Things", and the beautiful track "Let There Be Love". Jacob produced together with Vasco & Millboy in Västerås singer Shalona, Charlotte Olssons (known from groups such as Solid Base, Sniper and Melodie MC) song "Miracle" that would later be released on Bodywork 5, 2004. Jacob wrote a total of seven songs for the Shalona project that unfortunately fizzled out due to unforeseen reasons. Jacob continued to produce songs for his own name and started getting more and more contacts in the music world. One of them was Demilio A.K.A Mats Koray Genc. A very talented producer who did remixes of "All The Things" and "Miracle." The same year Jacob also came in contact with talented singer-songwriter "Criz" A.K.A Christian Meland. Together, they created the group "Jacob Czitrom & Criz". Tracks as "History", the cover "Your Song" and especially the cover hit "747", began to be heard all over Sweden. Please note that "747" still downloads very intense and the July 7, 2011 reached over 590,000 downloads. Jacob was contacted by Joakim Daif (Ocean Base), summer 2006 and then formed the group Dreamdivers (Jacob Czitrom, Joakim Daif & vocalist from Swedish Idol 2005, Albin Glad). The first single with the group Dreamdivers and the song "Close Your Eyes" came at the beginning of November, 2006. Publishing Company, which designed the song was House of Scandinavia who had his team in Denmark. The single was released on a variety of digital online stores such as Amazon, Music Online, Online Media and libris. The single was also released on Mr.. Music Maximum Dance, Magic Dance Vol. 1 and Giga Hits Zima. The song was then supposed to be released in several other collections as well. Jacob was at the same time also in contact with producer Dan-J (Jon Brandt Cedarhall). Together with Albin Glad, they wrote 2 songs: "Flying Away" and "No Other Way". Today is Jacob a sign artist on the label TA2 Records, which is based in Sydney, Australia.
