Dreams of Flying

Bio:

.. .. Dreams of Flying is a part-time band whose members are all involved in other projects at any one time. The Core of the band came together in 2004, through Weekend Warriors, a project aimed at getting older musicians back into the loop. We have been through lineup changes since inception, and will no doubt continue to do so. Although Dave Burton writes most of the music, it is the genius of the other musicians who make it happen in an exciting way. In 2005, the band, together with friends, put together their first album, backing Dave. All the songs on the album were by Dave but the album was called Dreams of Flying. We do songs by others in the band as well as covers. The covers have generally been diverse, but with guitarists of the calibre of Tim James, it is difficult not to cover songs by Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and Dream theatre.
