A bit of history...

I'm originally from a small town named Stephenville, Tx where I spent my rather pathetic early adolescent childhood. I then made my way over to Dallas in 1990 which was around the turning point of my life when I discovered electronica or as it was then, techno. Since the beginning of the former Edgeclub 94 days, airing on 94.5 The EDGE in Dallas on Sat. nights, this was the time that molded me into what I am now. A basic individual with no want or need for mainstream radio. After my high school days, where I spent most of my time trying to find a party, it became the interest of my best friend James and I to start having our own parties. We came up with what was then, Eminent Productions.

A special events production company where we threw raves. Yeah, those ones with the "wah-wahs" and every form of drug you could possibly have imagined, centered around what was suppose to be an audio/visual ecstacy extravaganza featuring your friendly neighborhood dj's and maybe a superstar or two. Among a few that graced our flyers........ DJ Monk, Joey Beltram, Green Velvet aka Cajmere, DJ Micro, DJ Merritt, DJ Love, and Donald Glaude. Times have changed and tastes evolved. From trance to jungle, to house to breaks. These were the days that made me. Sleepless nights, Dallas underground, music. Breaks have always been my passion though. It's a rarity here in Dallas so whenever there are breaks, i'll be on the dance floor. I might occasionally check out some old school hip hop and maybe some house if i'm really bored. That's about it. Not much radio. No wackness.
