Jan Sander. Danish musician, picked up guitarplaying in 1974. Soon he formed his first band ( The Bookhouse Boys). The band reheased at the Sander family..s house and made family and neighbours running screaming away. In 1977 The Bookhouse Boys changes there name to Trash Band and started performing at High-schools and Youth-clubs in the local area. Trash Band played Rock..n Funk with some Fusion in between. In 1979 Trash Band split up and Jan Sander started playing with Ska/Reggae Jam Band, Mek Pek Party Band. MPPB was a big success at clubs and High-Schools and in 1980 the band signed with a record company and MPPB released their first of two albums, simply called Mek Pek Party Band. MPPB had a No. 1 hit in DK ( Hit me with your ska.. beat) and had enormous succes in Denmark, the band performed at High-Schools and all major events sots as outdoor-festivals and concert-halls. MPPB released a second record in 1983 named PICNIC. MPPB came to and end in 1985. Jan Sander hooked up with Danish singer and songwriter Lars Muhl and his band The Human Beings. Jan Sander toured with Lars Muhl And The Human Beings for 3 years and. In between playing with The Human Beings, Jan Sander and the lead vocalist from MPPB (Mek Pek) formed a new band called Mek Pek And The Allrights. This band was again an enormous success in Dk with 3 grand tours and making 3 records with original material mostly written by Jan Sander and Mek Pek. In 1990 Mek Pek and The Allrights came to and end. In 1991 Jan Sander joined a tour with Danish singer and songwriter duo Sko/Torp. Sko/Torp had big success with their first record ( On A Long Lonely Night). For the next 5 years Jan sander performed with severel bands sots as The Hang Ups, White Shirt Blues Band, Rust, The Brain etc. In 1997 Jan Sander hook up with old friend Mek Pek and his band The Debitors. The Debitors performed 50..Rock..n Roll and toured for 3 years. In the early years Jan Sander discoveret the sound and spirit of Bands sots as: The Allman Brothers Band, The Eagles, George Hatcher Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Outlaws, 38 Special, Wet Willie artist sots as Gregg Allman, Frankie Miller, Delbert Mcclinton, Jimmy Hall and Ronnie Van Zant. These days Jan Sander is in the studio, fullfilling and old dream, recording some of these fine Bands and Artists tunes. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ................
