.... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .......... ...... .......... Julie DiDesidero is a freelance vocalist who is always looking and available for paid performance opportunities. She sits in with prominent Long Island and New York musicians. She has been seen in various Long Island venues such as: Guy Anthonys, Bordeaux Wine Bar,Cafe Napoli, Puglia of Little Italy, The Glen Cove Mansion, Murphy's Pub, The Fox Hollow Country Club, The Olivium Lounge, Port Jazz with Jerry Costanzo and Friends, The Carl Calma Big Band in Hicksville, Backstage Lounge, and the Garden City Cafe. She has performed with Gentleman Jazz and Ladies, who have been recently featured at the The Hudson Valley Resort, Nevele Resort in Ellenville, Heckshere Park, and various Long Island cafes. Julie's most recent endeavors has been performing with the Island Park Theatre Group in "On Broadway" and the Long Island Cabaret Theatre in "The Ultimate Cabaret Show."Julie has also performed in "Big Time" "Oh What A Night!" "I've Got the Music in Me", and "Bigger than Broadway." Julie is also a college graduate who received her BA in Music in a joint music program run by Hartwick and the State University College at Oneonta. Upon graduation, she was the chosen from over 1500 alumni to sing our "National Anthem", accompanied by the Catskill Brass Quintet. Julie was also seen as featured vocalist with the Oneonta Jazz Band, Jazz trio, participated as violinist in the Catskill Symphony Orchestra, and was the liaison for the Newman Hall Catholic Folk Group. Julie received her Master's degree in Music from CW Post College and was an active participant in the CW Post Orchestra as a violinist. She then began teaching Music to grade school children both publicly and privately for the next 16 years. After many years of teaching, Julie decided to pursue a new career as a vocalist, and mother. She has studied with former Broadway Singer and actress Kita De Sesa, and also with Las Vegas Singer Theresa Orlando. Julie is currently working with vocal coach Madeline Kole. She also studies violin with New York violinist pianist and singer Professor Arnie Gruber, and is working on her vocal music charts with the famous New York bass player Professor John Ray.
