    JC & Laney is the fastest rising acoustic act in Arizona, with moving Dylanesque songs & unique Everly Brothers type harmonies. They immediately entertain & dazzle audiences young & old by delivering hard driving as well as gentle Folk Rock Americana Songs with simple, subtle tongue in cheek messages. Since 1990 JC SCOTT has written & released 6 CD's and played with musicians from Arlo Guthrie & Lindsey Buckingham to Kenny Loggins. His voice, combined with his sidekick, LANEY GREYNOLDS, lead singer for Saddletramp from Scottsdale Arizona for 12 years, makes his own Folksy Americana, Hard Driving & Bluesy songs come uniquely alive. His stories & lyrics are simple & direct, sometimes satirical & sometimes deep. They are quickly becoming well known for their brilliant harmonies and their whirlwind debut CD, SERENDIPITY, released March 2010, with 11 original songs of pure solo acoustic guitar & vocals, as well as their 2nd CD, WILL CEASES NEVER WONDER, released January 29, 2011 with 13 full production original songs, produced by the legendary Steve Wood. JC & Laney appear annually at the Prescott, Glendale, Flagstaff, and Tucson folk festivals, as well as many other venues throughout Arizona and California.

JC & LANEY is a premier ACOUSTIC ROCK SINGER/SONGWRITER DUO from Arizona. Sometimes performing with accompanying musicians and always dazzlingly entertaining, they appeal to a wide range of audiences. Appearing at festivals, colleges, state fairs, and theaters since 2010, they powerfully deliver their own Roots/Americana songs with emotionally charged, subtle, direct or tongue in cheek lyrics, and unique, immediately recognizable & memorable vocals.
JC SCOTT since 1990 as a solo artist, has written & released five CDs and played with musicians from Arlo Guthrie & Lindsey Buckingham to Kenny Loggins.
LANEY GREYNOLDS former high energy lead singer for Saddletramp, has excited audiences with one of a kind vocal performances since 1995.
After a chance meeting in October of 2009, JC & Laney knew they were born to sing together. By combining their talents with legendary producer, Steve Wood, they have created three studio albums in two years that show the depth their abilities and a world class appeal: SERENDIPITY(2010), WILL CEASES NEVER WONDER (2011), and HEARTBREAK & PARADISE (2012).
Their 4th CD, OUT OF THE DUST (2012), was recorded live @ Higley Center for the Performing Arts on August 11, 2012, and features Heather “Lil Mama“ Hardy (AZ Blues Hall of Fame 2000) on violin. This CD reveals the truth of their live performance … you will hear & know why they surely captivate the house.
