.. P-DRIVER …writes, sings and plays catchy house & rock songs. His punky raw style of playing guitar matches surprisingly well with his rock voice and the acid bass and house beats he composes on a.o. Roland TB 303's. P-DRIVER is the nickname of Peter Everts, who likes to combine his love for music with his passion for cars: P-DRIVER enjoys to speed things up. On his instrumental internet-album 'Lake Acid' you'll find super fast tracks as well as less super fast ones! Some titles: Mango; Speedster Punk; Californian Import; Remedy for a Bad Day. Early 2009 he meets singer and musician Syb van der Ploeg (De Kast, Spanner) backstage at the De vrienden van Amstel LIVE!-show in Ahoy Rotterdam, Holland. Syb invites Peter to participate in his 2009 Elfstedentocht jubilee cultural project by contributing the song 'Short Track Attack'. Peter composed the acid house track originally for the Lake Acid album, but as P-DRIVER he also wrote lyrics for the version he sends to Syb. The track is recorded and mixed at the Detox Records studio in Baarn, Holland by Peter and Michiel Overeem, assisted by Menno Mathys Everts and René Schaap. The song Short Track Attack is officially released in the Spring of 2009. The P-DRIVER project continues. Most recently the track 'Happy Rain' came out. Very danceable funky acid house combined with a pointy distorted guitar lick. Git FUNKY !
