It's an unusual day...
I'm not sure which forces are at play...

Someone...Something is taking the structure apart...
brick by brick...layer by layer
from the skin to the heart...
Who is behind this slow...dismantling of my soul...?
Who is behind the tolls?

I feel like a handful of clay...
being remanufactured today...
slowly being moulded in to what I need be…
Who is sculpturing me?
Which artist?
Which hand?
Who is in command?

I feel more strength in my heart and bones...
 I simply never feel alone…
I feel someone is always there...
and that my soul is in their care...

What relationship are you to me?
Expose yourself so I can see...
Who is sailing this ship...guiding me?
And when I feel I may come apart...
Who is reinforcing the heart?
Who owns this chisel and knife?
Own up ...own up Dear Life...

Test me if you must test me
But don't let anything break me...
And if I start to fall apart...
rebuild and remake me...
I don't mind paying a fair toll  
For the chiselling of my soul...

I know I am being mined...
someone somewhere is processing my soul …I'm being refined
I feel a kind chisel and knife... 
reshaping my life...
Like a piece of coal...
