In the autumn of 2001 Giulio and Joey, scoolfriends and mates, decided to join their common passion for Thrash Metal by founding a band.
They publish an internet announce in order to find a drummer while, in the meantime, they start playing together some songs of Slayer and Death.
The first answer to the announce came in only two weeks: Filippo immediately became a member of the new-born band.
With the arrival of the “unbelievable” Filippo, the band is almost settled up and Giovanni cares about the vocals parts.

In November 2001 Mauro join the band as second guitar: SPIRIT CRUSHER were born (the name is taken from Chuck Schuldiner' song (Death), due to the veneration the own band had for this musician).
During one year the band exhibit in a lot of occasions, presenting a repertoire of Thrash-Death Metal cover (Death, Slayer, Testament, Pantera, Kreator, Metallica). Despite the young age, all the components of the band shown a great technical level mixed to violence.

In November 2002 Giovanni decided to concentrate himself only on the bass; after a long quest and unnumbered rehearse with many singers, Fabio was chosen as new singer of the band.
The group returns on the scenes, and with his brand new front-man Fabio, achieve to involve always more the audience with a perfect mix of technique and violence.

During the summer of 2005 Filippo decided to leave the band and another difficult quest for a new drummer begun, which finally ended in February 2006 when Jacopo entered in the band as new drummer.

In this period the band is concentrating itself on the writing of new songs.

During February 2008 the first 3 tracks demo is recorded for the contest "Metal Battle" (vote for us!!), and the record of a full-length album is foreseen by the end of the year 2008.


Nell’autunno 2003 Giulio e Giovanni, amici e compagni di scuola, decidono di unire la passione comune per il Thrash Metal fondando una band.
Mettono on-line un annuncio per cercare un batterista; nel mentre, provano in coppia canzoni degli Slayer e dei Death.
La prima risposta all’annuncio arriva dopo sole 2 settimane: Filippo entra immediatamente a far parte della band.
Con l'arrivo dell'incredibile Filippo, la band è quasi al completo e Giovanni si occupa delle parti vocali.

Nel novembre 2003, Mauro (cugino di Giovanni) si unisce alla band come secondo chitarrista : nascono gli Spirit Crusher (nome preso dal titolo dell’omonima canzone di Chuck Schuldiner(Death), musicista venerato dalla band)
Nel corso di un anno, la band si esibisce in varie occasioni presentando uno repertorio di cover Thrash/Death Metal ( Death, Slayer, Testament, Pantera, Kreator, Metallica). Nonostante la giovane età, tutti i componenti mettono in luce un grande livello tecnico miscelato a violenza.

Nel Novembre 2004 Giovanni decide di dedicarsi esclusivamente al basso; dopo una lunga ricerca e svariati provini, Fabio entra a far parte della band come cantante.
La band si esibisce in diverse occasioni e con il front-man Fabio, riesce a coinvolgere sempre di più il pubblico con il perfetto mix di tecnica e violenza.

Nell’estate 2005 Filippo lascia la band e inizia un lungo periodo alla difficilissima ricerca di un batterista, che termina nel febbraio 2006 quando finalmente il suo posto viene preso da Jacopo.

Dal 2006 , con la formazione finalmente stabile, la band inizia a scrivere brani propri.

Nel febbraio 2008 registra il primo demo contenente i primi tre pezzi, decidendo di partecipare al "Metal Battle" (votateci votateci!!) e prevedono di registrare il loro primo album nel corso del 2008
