    The band formed in October 2009 contained the body and soul of Nace Serdinsek (guitar), Domen Cas (keyboards), Matjaz Mosnik (bass), Nejc Kolar (drums) and vocalist Ales Ocko that joined the band in early 2010. The band started creating original material from the very beginning. At the end of 2010 the band starts preparations to hit the studio in early 2011 but two weeks before the recording date singer Ales leaves the band due to personal reasons. By coincidence Nace meets guitarist Tomaz Perme at a local jam session a few weeks after Ales left and asked him if he wanted to join the band because they always wanted two guitarists for that thick sound. Tomaz came to band practice, heard the music and joined State of fiction. Not much later Tomaz brings in singer Matjaz Sirovnik into the band and in March 2011 the band is complete. After a few gigs and solid work State of fiction finally goes into the studio at the end of August 2011 to record their first demo that consists of four tracks: Trends of society, Maladjusted, Needels and pills, Ignoranza. The demo sounds like it was recorded in the early 90's very raw sounding. In the studio the band went through a learning curve and are already creating new material and gigging in Slovenia (most of you probably don't know where that is :D it's next to Italy). The band has a long way to go before they go abroad but as Mark Knopfler said "dedication, devotion". _____________________________________________ Band formiran oktobra 2009 je v samih zacetkih vseboval duso in telo Naca Serdinska, Domna Casa, Matjaza Mosnika, Nejca Kolarja ter vokalista Alesa Ocka. Zaradi idej in želje po ustvarjanju avtorske glasbe, State Of Fiction ze od nastanka delajo na lastnih komadih in se z njimi predstavijo tudi na nekaj koncertih. Konec leta 2010 zacnejo s pripravami na studio. Tik pred snemanjem pa se band sporazumno razide z vokalistom Alesem, ter tako ustavi svoje aktivno ustvarjanje za krajsi cas. Nace v februarju 2011 na jem sessionu spozna kitarista Tomaza Permeta. Ker je band v svojih vrstah vedno zelel imeti dva kitarista, ga povabi k sodelovanju. Po preigranem in predvsem zalitem veceru je Tomaz tako rekoc clan skupine. Istocasno band isce vokalista. Vokalista pa nikjer… Tomi se na prvih vajah seznani s komadi ter vizijo benda in ugotovi, da bi zaradi stila glasbe bilo vredno poizkusiti s pevcem iz njegovih prejsnjih projektov Matjazem Sirovnikom. Matjaz ponudbo sprejme in od takrat naprej so State Of Fiction ponovno v polni zasedbi. State Of Fiction v osnovi igrajo rock/metal, vseeno pa v njihovih pesmih lahko zacutimo vplive različnih glasbenih stilov. Hvala za pozornost in se (upajmo) vidimo na koncertu!
