Dear Jim,
Thank you for the inspiration you have been to our family, and the
huge impact you have had on Campaign For Care.  You certainly are a
bright beacon of light for us and so many others.  Once I read something
painted on The Smell's wall that said, "You are safe here".  It struck
me as so profoundly true that I will never forget it.  We have always
marveled at the ability you have to host a very diverse and thriving
community of music makers and music lovers with virtually no incidence
of violence.  It has to do with your dedication to providing a venue
where people can gather in an environment of tolerance, embracing our
differences while celebrating what we have in common.  It is remarkable
how you run such a tight ship amongst all the chaos.  You are an
outstanding person and we are so grateful to have you in our lives. 
Thank you for all the fabulous memories, we look forward to many more
evenings with you in your magnificent home away from home.  Thanks also for
working so hard to make The Smell such a welcoming place, we just love
to be there, it is always time well spent.
