As if the guy didn’t already have a leg up on every male under the age of 25, now Justin Bieber has gone ahead and upped his game yet again. Yesterday, in honor of Mother’s Day, the pop star released a new single “Turn To You,” whose proceeds, the singer says, will go to benefit single mothers. The motivation for Bieber’s gushy new tune is, of course, his mother, Pattie Malette, who raised the young Biebs as a single mother in Stratford.

And Bieber doesn’t waste any time telling his mom exactly how much he appreciates her. “You worked two jobs to keep a roof above our heads/ you chose a life for me no you never gave up/ I admire you for the strength you’ve instilled in me,” he croons genrly over a syrupy-sweet pop beat.

It doesn’t appear “Turn To You” will appear on Bieber’s forthcoming album, Believe, but nonetheless, it’s sure to temporarily hold over his Beliebers who are hyperventilating at the very thought of a new batch of Bieber music.
