Well, Mother’s Day 2012 is officially behind us, and what a day it was, you guys! I went to my mother’s, gave her a card, and then we sat quietly playing Words With Friends while in the same room. Ain’t no party like a Mother’s Day party cuz a Mother’s Day Party contains a lot of Words With Friends! Most of us are not rich and famous people, which is good because it keeps us grounded, and bad because of absolutely everything else. But, remember celebrities — they’re just like us and on Mother’s Day they do things similar to what we do to celebrate our glorious mothers. Take Blue Ivy Carter’s mother Beyonce, for example.

This mother’s day, Beyonce wrote her mother a heartfelt letter that any one of us could have penned: . .
Isn’t that sweet. Gotta love Beyonce. But, she was not the only celebrity who did nice, practical things for their mothers. Nope, not at all. You guys know famous child bride Courtney Stodden, right? She’s the best! For mother’s day, Courtney wore a bra while she baked with her mother and had totally candid pics taken of the whole day! . .
That is such a fun, super common thing that mothers and daughters do together. I’m sure Court’s mom was really excited about it. Hugh Jackman wore an outfit of a different kind when he wished mothers the world over a happy mother’s day. Clad in his Jean Valjean and from the set of ‘Les Miserables,’ Jackman shot a short and sweet video for the moms. .

Way to make whatever gifts we regular folks give look second rate, Wolverine. Other celebs took to Twitter and in the case of Gwen Stefani wished a happy mothers day to her famous friends: “Gwyneth Paltrow, Alicia Keys, Nicole Richie, Victoria Beckham, Kelly Wearstler happy mothers day muffins gx.” Hey Gwen, I think you may have dropped something. .
Regardless of how you spent your mothers day, one thing is clear: your mother’s day would have been a lot better had you been famous! Happy day after mother’s day y’all.
