Wes Anderson certainly has a unique take on filmmaking. A new behind-the-scenes featurette gives us a glimpse of his quirky filmmaking process, in which the entire cast raves about the indie director. That’s saying something, considering Moonrise Kingdom might have the best cast Anderson’s assembled yet (which in and of itself is saying something). Mainstays Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman are back, and joining them are Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Tilda Swinton, and Frances McDormand.
If you’re unfamiliar with the story, two children in love run away, and as Jason Schwartzman puts it, “a search party composed of many adults having their own internal dramas goes after them.” Anderson’s got a pretty immaculate track record, so we’re guessing Moonrise Kingdom will be another hit. .
. Moonrise Kingdom opens May 16th, 2012. .
