Yesterday when we posted an article conveying a sense of amazement at the sheer number of hyper-sexualized songs currently invading the airwaves, we had no idea what the next day would bring. Because nothing could quite prepare for us for R&B singer Brian McKnight’s latest song. For those unaware, this past April McKnight thought it would funny to drop a song entitled “If You’re Ready to Learn” that contains the raunchy-as-hell refrain “Let me show you how your pussy works.” But today, he topped even that song’s smuttiness.

Yup, McKnight’s latest untitled song is an ode to porn website, YouPorn. It seems the man wanted to show some gratitude to the porn kings after the site heavily promoted “If You’re Ready To Learn,” which caused his song to have an enormous sales spike. Some sample lyrics from McKnight’s new song, other than him repeating the words “YouPorn” multiple times?  ”You wanna see some f**king anal, I can get you close enough to smell.” Wait, what? This is a real song? Sadly, yes it is. You can hear a snippet of the song over at TMZ.

But really, what the hell is going on here, people? We know it’s 2012, and we’re all for freedom of expression. But a line needs to be drawn in the sand at some point. Even our mainstream music needs to be now infiltrated by this smut? We say enough is enough.
