.We’d like to congratulate Usher for scoring his fourth Number one album this week for his latest disc Looking 4 Myself. The album sold 128,000 copies its first week out according to Nielsen Soundscan, a fact that’s in no doubt partially due to the success of its smash single “Climax.” [Billboard]
.
The rock act Queensryche have parted ways with vocalist Geoff Tate after over two decades with the act, which is kind of strange because Tate is the only remotely recognizable member of the group. [Billboard]
.
Eva Simons, an artist we’ve had our eye on for a while, has a new video for the song “Renegade” and if you’re a fan of dancey pop we’ve got a feeling you’ll be a fan. [Vulture]
.
98 Degrees have announced that they’ll be reuniting for one show this summer that will take place at the MixTape Festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania, in August. Despite the band’s denials we’re expecting a full tour announcement in the near future. [MTV News]
.
Lil Wayne has reportedly made a plea for Drake to end his beef with Chris Brown. In other news we’re not sure what the world has come to when Weezy is the voice of reason. [TMZ]
.
Pink’s new single “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” will come out on July 9th and her next album will drop later this year. We wonder if the rest of the song titles will be as risque. [Billboard]
.
Jay-Z is reportedly be sued by a man named Patrick White who says that the rapper stole portions of his writing that were included in Hova’s 2010 memoir Decoded. In other words, we’ve heard that White’s favorite Guns N’ Roses album is Use Your Delusion. [Perez Hilton]
