At the Legendary Pictures portion of the Warner Bros panel the head of Legendary showed an unexpected teaser trailer of Godzilla. The footage showed a devastated landscape, broken buildings, smashed trains with bodies littered across the ground, a voice over talking about this horrible, horrible time as if it was in retrospect. We see the back of Godzilla, pan over and see lizard arms/hands – it looks like he’s dead. Then we see another shot of a very-much alive Godzilla and she’s huge, we realize that was her baby that was dead. She screams out with a horrifying cry.
Director Gareth Edwards came out for a few moments. He’s really excited and he almost teared up. He said this film is going to be grounded in reality and that there’s nothing Sci-Fi about it. FASCINATING.

Godzilla comes out in an eternity from now – 2014.

Since when is Godzilla a she? excluding the failed American knockoff. also i think they "rebooted" for the heisi and new millennium eras.
Third reboot? To the best of my knowledge there has never been a "reboot" of the Gojira franchise, and that abortion that is the "American" godzilla... well that was no godzilla at all (Godzilla: Final Wars finally killed that abomination off). This new "American" Gojira is more of a pick up where Godzilla: Final Wars ended.
